Welcome to Dr. R. V. Arts and Science College

Dr. R. V. Arts and Science College is established in the year 2006 by Dr. R. Venkatesalu Naidu Charitable Trust, which has dedicated itself in the field of education. Dr. R. Venkatesalu Naidu, the founder of the above mentioned trust has been highly successful in running many colleges of various disciplines. He is a best philanthropist and a respectable citizen of our district.

It is a co-educational institution, which strives to provide high quality education to the youths. The college is situated in the temple town of Karamadai on the Coimbatore - Mettupalayam road and is easily accessible from any part of Coimbatore.

MISSION OF THE COLLEGE

To assure and develop the quality of education by constant elevation of Infrastructure, Methodology, Faculty to achieve global recognition in the field of education by producing students for excellence at par. The college conducts a number of value added courses after regular academic hours to cater the needs of the students who want to place themselves at higher level in today's competitive market.

Principal Desk


        
     Dr.D.Anandagopal, M.Cop., M.Phil., Phd., DHED., Principal of our college. He has been in collegiate service for more than 34 years. His experience covers all the three major areas in teaching as a Professor, Associate Professor and HOD of Cooperation department in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science. 

He has successfully produced and is guiding M.Phil's and Phd's. He has attended, presented, organized and directed many National and International Seminars, Workshops and Conferences at various institutions. He has also published books and journals. He was a doctoral committee member of universities and was an external examiner for M.Phil and Phd's. He was a Chairman of Board of Studies in universities. He was also a Valuation Chairman for UG and PG. He is one of the members of the college level Committees. He was a co-ordinator for UGC and NAAC in 2009. He was an IQAC co-ordinator for 2008-09 to 2011-12. 

He was a member of teaching staff Selection Committee in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science and Gandhigram Rural University. He has prepared course materials for the Bharathidasan and Annamalai University for B.Com and M.Com Cooperative Management. He was a university nominee in Board of Studies in Madras University and Bharathiar University. He has acted as university representative for the Bharathiar University of examination in the affiliated colleges. He has also delivered motivational speeches in education institutions.
